DEFINITION

Classification: 137/572

(under subclass 571) Systems in which the plural tanks are so constructed that they may be separated from one another and in which the passage by which the tanks are connected contains a valve or closure.

(1) Note. The separation is not in the normal use of the apparatus, but is usually for cleaning or replacement of parts of a system without loss of the main body of fluid, as in a transformer radiator.
