DEFINITION

Classification: 156/188

(under subclass 187) Processes in which at least two separate webs are wound about a nonwound core one after the other.

(1) Note. Patents which define simultaneously feeding separate webs and which are assembled at the point of contact with the core are considered within the scope of this subclass.

(2) Note. Winding of an assembly of webs is not considered a winding of at least two separated webs for the purposes of this subclass.
