(under subclass 340) Passageway covering means wherein the reciprocating covering structure is moved by drive-means* powered by contact with a moving load-underlying support surface, or structure attached to the load-underlying support surface, of an elevator.

(1) Note. Means located on and traveling with the load-underlying support surface which is intended to impact directly against the passageway covering means is not considered a drive-means* proper for this subclass and is found in subclass 340.
