DEFINITION

Classification: 200/51.03

(under subclass 51.02) Devices in which single or plural switching means may be so operated as to open or close a selected part only of the total number of circuits under control of the switching means.

(1) Note. This subclass includes, for example, multiple lamp sockets having a switch which can be operated to light any desired number of lamps at will of the operator.
