DEFINITION

Classification: 209/333

(under subclass 233) Flat horizontal or inclined sifters having a horizontal shake in one direction where there is no definite travel of material toward a discharge, or where there is such travel of the material, the shake is transverse to the direction of travel.

(1) Note. This subclass will in general take devices which do not fall into the indented subclasses, usually those in which no specific type of sifter support is involved.

SEE OR SEARCH THIS CLASS, SUBCLASS:

327, for similar sifters having both horizontal and vertical shake.
