DEFINITION

Classification: 220/214

(under subclass 200) Device provided with means in addition to the closure for the purpose of indicating unauthorized movement of the closure, said means being removable without destruction of the closure.

(1) Note. Usually the sealing means consists of a wire or chain element looped through the closure and a locking hasp and the ends of such element being connected by a lead seal.
