(under subclass 418) Sliding device provided with a movably attached member (e.g., bar, chain) by which the pulling force necessary to shift the device along the length of the surfaces is transmitted, and wherein the locking-means* for the sliding device consists of either an integrally formed or rigidly affixed protrusion which is located on the pull member and engages with the interlocking surfaces when the pull member is moved relative to the slider.
