(under subclass 601.8) Projection member wherein the noninserted portion of the projection member includes a

distinct formation (e.g., gate) constructed from the filament and nonmovably connected to the shank which cooperates with the relatively movable biased projection and acts as a barrier to close or reduce the unobstructed space between the tip of the projection and the shank when the projection is located in one of its positions to less than the amount of space needed to pass the projection into or out the cavity.
