37.1  DF  RECYCLING OF RECLAIMED OR PURIFIED PROCESS MATERIAL (NOT RECYCLED CONSUMER USED ARTICLES) {6}
37.29.~ Of excess solid particulate (e.g., dust, powder, etc.)

DEFINITION

Classification: 264/37.29

Of excess solid particulate (e.g., dust, powder, etc.):

(under subclass 37.1) Processes wherein the reclaimed or purified process material is surplus small bits of matter having definite shape, relatively great density, low internal heat content, and great cohesion of its molecules, which typically can be poured like a fluid when handled (e.g., granule, bead, powder, pellet, flake, particle, granulate, grain, etc.).

(1) Note. Solid particulates generally are distinguished from filamentary particles in that their shape and length-to-diameter ratio are such that in the dry state the particulates will not hold together as a massive article without the application of pressure or heat.
