Using transitory solid cover material:

(under subclass 17.4) Process including superposing a solid member over a work portion to facilitate metalworking or treating of the work portion, which solid member does not form part of one of the manufactured articles.

(1) Note. The solid cover material generally constitutes some portion of the pack and may itself become a manufactured product but not in the course of the claimed invention.
