227 R  DF  CONDENSER IN THE SUPPLY CIRCUIT {10}
245.~ Resistance in the condenser circuit

DEFINITION

Classification: 315/245

(under subclass 227) Systems provided with a resistance in a circuit which includes the condenser.

(1) Note. The resistance may be (1) in electrical series relation with the source of supply and the condenser so that the charging current for the condenser flows through the condenser, or (2) in electrical series relation with the condenser and the load device so that the condenser discharges its current through the resistance and the load device, or (3) in electrical shunt relation to the condenser so that there is a flow of current through the resistance during the charging and/or discharge periods of the condenser.
