DEFINITION

Classification: 351/151

(under subclass 150) Subject matter wherein resilient metal elements, such as leaf springs, are interposed between the strap member and the adjacent edge of the lens to maintain the connection between the lens and the strap flexibly but firmly in proper relation.

(1) Note. These springs are usually provided in rimless-type spectacles.
