DEFINITION

(under subclass 52) Subject matter including a low heat-transmitting shield, liner, or partition which absorbs or reflects heat and stops heat from reaching particular parts of the projector; a mask having an aperture in the optical path which blocks part of the heat and light rays; a mask which alternately blocks the optical path for the purpose of reducing the heat energy reaching the object; or nonheat-conducting material employed in constructing the projector to reduce the transfer of heat to particular projector parts.
