DEFINITION

Classification: 356/333

In a double monochromator:

(under subclass 332) Subject matter wherein a plurality of dispersing elements with an intervening slit or equivalent filtering structure are provided between the dispersing elements, as for providing a narrower band of light.

(1) Note. This subclass provides for two monochromators, generally in series, wherein the exit slit of one of the monochromators is also the entrance slit of the other monochromator.
