DEFINITION

Classification: 37/309

With means to control dredger operation (e.g., movement of dredged material) in response to sensed condition:

(under subclass 307) Apparatus wherein a means is provided for (a) sensing a change in either the excavation apparatus, the excavated material, or the environment associated therewith, and (b) regulating the excavation apparatus, the excavated material, or the environment associated therewith in response to that change.

(1) Note. For a patent to be classified in this subclass, the claim must include at least three elements: (a) a dredger, (b) a sensor to detect a condition, and (c) a controller which responds to the sensor (e.g., pump, motor, valve, solenoid).
