Cutting rotating work, the axis of which lies in a plane intersecting the cutter axis:

(under subclass 34) Apparatus or method wherein the workpiece is supported for movement about axis during cutting action

relative to the cutting tool and wherein the cutting tool is adapted to be indexed between cutting passes about a second axis, in which apparatus to process the cutting tool axis is neither parallel to nor intersecting of the axis of the workpiece so that the two axes are not lying in a common plane.
