Sear trigger lock:
(under subclass 70.01) Devices wherein the security mechanism prevents movement of the firing train by preventing the operation of both the trigger and the sear device.
(1) Note. Sear is the part or device which engages the hammer, striker or other firing device and holds it in the cocked position until firing is desired. The sear is
disengaged to cause firing by trigger movement.
