DEFINITION

Classification: 427/153

(under subclass 146) Processes for producing paper or film coated on one side with carbon or a similar dark-colored substance, which coated paper is intended to be placed between two sheets of paper so that the pressure of writing, drawing, typing etc., on the upper sheet makes a copy on the lower.

(1) Note. The coating may be something other than carbon, e.g., dyes in a wax, etc.
