Socket connector having three or more annularly arranged duplicate grip elements:

(under subclass 819) Electrical connector having at least three identical, rigid clamping parts so disposed that they will fall on the circumference of a circle; and wherein the spring member urges the clamping parts radially inward toward the center of the circle so that they exert a radical clamping pressure on a conductor located at the center of the circle.
