Fiber or wire reinforced:

(under subclass 49) Roll, which roll is structurally strengthened by means of elongated strand or rod material introduced as individual elements.

(1) Note. Generally the reinforcement material is of a different composition than that of the bulk of the roll body.

(2) Note. The elongated material need not have an especially long length but only have a length which is many times its width or thickness.
