By direct application of vacuum or fluid pressure:

(under subclass 309) Method or apparatus wherein repositioning of one wall with respect to another is effected by (a) removing atmospheric pressure from one side of an area of the wall so that atmospheric pressure on the opposite side causes the wall to move; or, (b) by direct application of superatmospheric pressure to one side of an area of the wall to cause the wall to move.
