DEFINITION

Classification: 516/68

The nitrogen is a ring member (e.g., polyisocyanurate):

(under subclass 67) Subject matter in which the organic* compound which contains nitrogen contains the nitrogen in a ring structure, such as polyisocyanurate.

(1)

Note: In order to be considered a ring, nonionic bonding must exist between all ring members. Inner salt compounds such as betaines, sulfobetaines, etc., wherein two ring members are attached to each other by ionic bonding, are not regarded as rings for purposes of this subclass.
