DEFINITION

Classification: 521/67

Adding -N=C=X material to a latex, dispersion, or emulsion containing a solid polymer:

(under subclass 65) Subject matter wherein an -N=C=X material (X is a chalcogen)is added to an aqueous latex, aqueous dispersion, or aqueous emulsion containing a solid polymeric material.

(1) Note. The -N=C=X material may be added at any stage of cure with the proviso that it must be added to an aqueous latex, emulsion, or dispersion which is capable of expansion or of further expansion as a latex, emulsion, or dispersion.
