DEFINITION

Classification: 525/425

Mixed with polycarboxylic acid or derivative and polyhydroxy reactant or polymer therefrom:

(under subclass 420) Subject matter wherein the solid polymer is mixed with a polycarboxylic acid or derivative reactant and a polyhydroxy reactant or reaction product resulting therefrom.

(1) Note. It is unnecessary for the polycarboxylic acid and polyhydroxy reactant to be added to the solid polymer simulataneously. The only requirement is that both reactants be added to the solid polymer sometime during the mixing and/or reacting processes.
