DEFINITION

Classification: 83/235

(under subclass 202) Device wherein means is provided to bring a portion of the work adjacent a tool station alternately to a halt and to a condition of forward motion by imparting to that portion of the work a succession of alternate backward and forward movements while the remainder of the work is undergoing continuous forward movement.
